I don’t know if Doctor Who had taken off so much in the public sphere by 2008. I only knew 3 or 4 people, personally, that watched the show at that time and only 2 of them had been fans before Tennant’s turn.
That and seeing as Cooper’s the 4th Doctor, that probably wouldn’t be too helpful for Marla
This is a bit sad. Even if you’re not into Science Fiction, it’s pretty tough to never hear of Doctor Who.
