The one time I was there for an Inventory, it was during daytime… and so happened to coincide with COVIDgeddon, when people were stocking up on EVERYTHING.

    What a day that was.

I’ve been hired to do inventory a couple times, I recall the reason why outside help was hired wasn’t because they didn’t trust their employees but because we did it all in one 8 hour shift after the store closed, so it was outside of the parameters that the employees had been hired under.

There was about 10 of us, so that ~$1000 the store paid for inventory to get done was probably way less of a hassle than trying to square the hole with their regular staff’s schedules. I dunno, I seem to recall most of the people doing the inventory were family members of the staff, so, in a way, the employees WERE being trusted to do their own inventory :p
