This highly depends on location. In Washington State the law is that you have to be given a ten minute break before you hit your four hour mark and a lunch break by the fifth hour. This generally evens out to a break of some sort every two hours worked in most places. Other states don’t have the same laws, some not having any break requirements in their labor laws.
