Pretty much. I forget the actual story on the how’s, why’s, and wherefore’s that Norm started this story arc and quit on it, but it became an in-story gag that Val started a horror novel but got writer’s block on it before too long.
Huh, just occurred to me that someone could have written a creepypasta explaining the *real* reason for all this.
