Marla can play that game, too. As SM, she doesn’t only report to the DM, she can jump up the chain to Regional and let them know about this scummy situation. I don’t think Regional will be ok with giving a raise to a relatively new AssMan when they can let him go and hire a new one (and potentially at a lower salary)
