This could have made for a “series finale” arc with Mina: a Karen takes her shaved monkey of a kid to Delman’s after Marla calls him out for using the place for a jungle gym, the kid continues to act a fool and gets himself hurt at Delman’s, and Mina tries to deflect the resultant lawsuit onto Grumbel’s as that was where this all started.

Ah, the strip that was the Genesis for my love of Retail. Pretending You Care, and Norm himself. We had this taped to the time clock at one of the stores I worked for. Reading it every day (until management had to take it down) was so fulfilling.

And in ten years, when he comes into the store with a mohawk, tatoos and chain in his nose, Marla will hire him.
