    For the unitiated, “running small” means something is smaller than you would expect for the size number stated on the tag, while “running big” means it’s larger than you would expect. This situation arises because the manufacturers can’t be bothered to actually follow a standard sizing system. Personally, I wish they’d all just go with millimeters or centimeters instead of the mish-mash “system” in use today.

    I started buying men’s pants because at least they are sold by waist size and inseam size, as opposed to women’s pants which are sold based on random sizing made up by each individual manufacturer.
