    Well, these department stores and the big box emporia often act like huge Faraday cages, making reception poor or non-existent regardless of what platform you’re on. The blue and orange hardware stores now offer their own wireless networks for customers, so that’s a step in the right direction.

      Yeah, they realized that they can’t keep their employees off their phones without *hugely* pissing off their customers, too.

        Also the employees can then use their phones to look to see which aisle/bay the item the customer is looking for is at (happened twice for me).
