      Keep in mind, “protection” can fail. I don’t think it’s realistic to say newlyweds should zip it up if they don’t want kids yet.

        Yes it can fail but it works better than doing nothing. Besides Marla told Scott she wanted children. It’s too bad she couldn’t have both a kid and her own store but she wouldn’t have had time for both. How could she give her new store the attention it needs while she’s giving the new baby all the attention he/she needs?
