“Mandatory Fun” was later the title of a Weird Al album. The song “Mission Statement” from said album is highly apropos here.

Great album, great song! Yes, it is very appropriate.

Love the aquarium header on this strip.

Your not supposed to have fun at work. Co-workers and I were laughing about something and we were told that.

I just Googled “having fun on the sales floor” to see what good stuff I could find. Lordy.
    – A list of 30 near-identical competitions where the one who sells the most gets to wear the green jacket.
    – “Make sure your employees are in the right job”. So, if they’re not having fun, get rid of them. Wow.
    – “Define which types of humour are acceptable in your workplace.” That is this cartoon.
    – “Organize a fun committee.” I remember that Dilbert cartoon. It was the worst punishment the PHB could do to someone.
Any job dealing with the public is hard. Just try to make it more tolerable.

And now Dilbert is gone, because his creator showed himself to be a racist jerk.
