Ive Actually HAD this happen where I work, but with a birthday cake. They ate the entire thing, didnt like it, and came back in for a refund and were furious they didn’t get one
I’d probably say something like “I’m sorry, I can’t give you a refund because you didn’t bring the product back. A refund is part of the original contract, you bought something and gave us money for it. If you want your money back, you must give us the product back. Now please go and think about your life choices”
As horrible as it sounds, this is something I’d like to do in real life just to see how they deal with this kind of lunacy.
