Once I was in a Walmart in winter, had my winter coat on, with a cart, shopping like everyone else and some customer asked me where something was. I said I don’t work here, and they were shocked. I wanted to ask if they thought the workers all wore winter coats to do their jobs.

This happens to me once in a while, when I’m repairing a printer at Home Depot. Apparently my lack of an orange apron isn’t a sufficient clue that I DON”T WORK HERE.
