I did this to a laptop once. It was acting up and I had warranty, so I SHOULD have taken it in for servicing. Instead, I got angry and punched the screen hard enough to crack it and compromise the liquid crystal. When I took it in and they turned it on, the employee stared at me and said “it looks like you hit it with a hammer, we could’ve done something before you deliberately damaged it.”
It was an expensive lesson, but one I took to heart
“Okay, I’m not supposed to tell you this, but if you go to Delman’s and tell them you’re Keith Sanzen and looking for Jimbo, they’ll buy it off of you.”
