    Well, it makes sense. Sounds like an easy gig since there is no real work involved. It is an even faker job than retail!

      No real work? Can you draw? Can you write a coherent storyline? Can you get it all done by the deadline? It may not be back-breaking labor, but it does require effort and talent.

      Besides, claiming there’s “no real work involved” is exactly what customers say about working in customer service!

        uh, there are actually quite a few comics (web and newspaper) that are phoned in. A pretty glaring example would actually be the person that took over the strip Mark Trail. Not only is the art an inconsistent mess, but the writing is all over the place and most of the “arcs” end in wet farts (not that that doesn’t happen everywhere else, but it certainly doesn’t help in this example)

        I’m no artist, but when you look at something like the reboot of Flash Gordon and compare it to something like Crankshaft, you can definitely see the difference
