From my knowledge of mythology, I’m fairly sure a genie in a lamp would be far worse than winning the lottery. If I remember correctly, they’re supposed to grant wishes in such a way that the person wishing for that thing regrets it.
Depends on the genie and how you word your wish. Unfortunately, people are thinking of the end result of having anything they want and don’t think clearly. Be careful what you wish for and all that.
