I think the BIG tip-off is that she’s in an oversized coat and sunglasses. The hat is perfectly normal and acceptable (and attractive with a better personality). But, without a cane or seeing eye dog, sunglasses indoors means you’re most certainly trying to hide your eyes.
Remember: This is the same woman who tried to make off with a huge amount of clothes just by wearing them, only to fall over after Val asked her to stop.
She might as well be carrying a sign. “I am here to steal!” Her clothing and request say it all. Why would a store sell something like that? I guess she’ll have to wait until a worker moves away from their counter to help a customer and then try to remove it from the counter but they’re probably all attached.
A strong magnet and depending on the device maybe pliers will do the trick.
