On my first job at the Dairy Queen when I was 18 years old it was a very hot day and the lines were out the door. This belligerent bozo brain walked in to the front of the line and started ordering, interrupting the woman I was waiting on. I told him he needed to go to the end of the line but he just kept ordering. The woman sighed and said “Oh just go ahead and wait on him” but I wasn’t going to reward him for thinking he was better than anyone else. I told him to go to the end of the line. My boss came out and ordered him out of the store.
Good on your boss! I know too many managers who would have just given in to him to get him out of the store, but that always leads to the guy thinking they had the right to do it any time.
I know, it’s a terrible shock, but there are other people in the world besides YOU.
