    I want to do a spoiler but I know there are people reading these who gripe about them. So I will give some warning.

    SPOILER!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

    At the end of the strip when Marla gets an office management job, with regular 9-5 M-F hours one has to wonder why she stuck with Grumbels for so long. She probably got health insurance with that job and all weekends off, to someone who’d spent so long in retail working 50+ hour weeks that had to be such luxury!
