Cooper actually does have a good attitude in regards to working these kinds of jobs. In this case: Use what you’ve got to make your job a little easier.
He can hardly be running all over for each purchase. He had to do it this way. But don’t tell Stuart who will rag on him actually expecting him to run around all day putting in his code. And defend Corporate for “forgetting” to upload the liquidation discount.
I thought of one other way it could be done without giving out the management code. Close ALL of the register stations except 1. Then Cooper could do it all without running around. And since the store is closing, who cares if it pisses customers off? Only corporate. But still Cooper’s solution is infinitely better.
You forgot an “A” in manager.

Do your best to solve more problems than you cause. That’s all anyone can ask of you.
That’s a good outlook
“well, I’m not technically a manager, so as far as I’m concerned those rules don’t apply to me. That and this store is closing so who cares?”
