    Marla has a point. I’m amazed stores don’t just have a clock with a dial counting down until Christmas all year round.

      Probably because someone would be tempted to set fire to it. And more worrying for store owners, someone would actually do it and cause thousands of dollars of damage.

    An old boss of mine LOVED Christmas, but not to the point of it being as annoying as retail makes it. And yes, he could tell you how many days were left until Christmas, no matter where we were in the year, and pretty quickly too, without needing to look it up.
