    Customers only see the big words, not the small ones. We were selling yarn at $1 off each skein, and the customer insisted to me that the sign said “$1 each”. Then when I pointed out where it said “off”, she griped about “the fine print.” Mind you, the “fine print” was about half an inch tall.

      That’s exactly the problems this will cause. They will frequently point to “That sign says ‘SALE’ on it!” All Marla needs to do is tell those people to call corporate to complain. If enough of them do, corporate will change it back.
