    I love when people ask that. Or when they go to customer service and there’s only one person behind the counter because no one who’s there that night is trained so even if the line is stupidly long people just have to deal with it. People will ask if someone else will help but no one else who’s there being trained on register or the desk is a thing.

    Of course, my little secret being that I’m trained on register but unless my supervisor tells me to go up there we’re generally told to just do our own department’s worth of work and not let our people be a crutch for the another department’s failure to plan for personnel shortages. lol
