Only if the store is willing to spend the extra time to properly sort its trash. A lot just gets dumped into a big bin, together with plastic wrapping.
Plus, you just know those packing peanuts aren’t the ones made from cornstarch, they’re styrofoam. (Or, I suppose I could show my a– a bit and say ‘extruded polystyrene,’ but that’s not quite as fun to say.)
Styrofoam is chucked straight in the trash. Also a lot of cardboard gets disqualified for various stupid reasons. Not an environmental nut, just had the news on and couldn’t find the remote in time lol.
I get the joke, but in reality the cardboard is recycled too. They don’t just throw it away.
