If Sanzen became a Grumbel’s shareholder, maybe.

Technically. It was an “I’m moving up in the world while your still stuck there” approach.

Lord Lundar, all you needed to do was say “Yes.” Some new readers aren’t going to appreciate that…

I feel like there should have been a bigger climax to this plan. Still enjoyed it though.

There was a phase 2… it was quite anti-climactic, but it really burned Cooper anyway.

I always hated this storyline. None of it made sense and it never went anywhere.

The worst part of the whole “Phase 2” storyline was the tons of hype in the comments. I told people it wouldn’t be epic, but people were convinced Keith Sanzen would have some sort of super-villain grade revenge in play.

To be fair, we had a certain expectation base on Norm’s normal style of writing. He doesn’t dangle things and then forget them. Based on this ending, how could there be anything but a “Phase 2”?

It’s been explained elsewhere but Norm’s original intention was to end this storyline on this particular cliffhanger with no expectation of paying off a “Phase 2”. Keep in mind that Keith Sanzen is based on an actual person and even though the real life Keith was fine with Norm using his name and likeness to portray a villain, Norm was not 100 percent comfortable about it. But because there was so much anticipation by fans in the comment section, he felt he had to come up with something to pay off the storyline. He also wanted to do it in a way not to make Keith out to be too “evil”, so we got what we got. A life lession.

Well, the last time Keith swore to return it was six years ago, so I’m gonna take that security while I can. If we’re following the trend, then we’re gonna be here for a while.
