This happened a lot during Covid related lockdowns. I speak from experience.

It didn’t help that people were pressured by social media to “make the most of it”. What do you mean you didn’t remodel the kitchen? Why haven’t you learned another language? Why can’t you play the guitar at professional level yet? You must have been wasting your time!

And apparently some companies in the US were pressuring their employees to do stuff like online training videos from home. Guys, it’s not a free vacation. It’s “I’m doing this so I don’t accidentally kill my grandma with something I picked up from a co-worker”!

Marla got a whole Sunday off? Well now that she makes the schedule I guess she can. So Josh has to work every Sunday. Nice.

My job gives me Mondays and Tuesdays, alternating, off. Basically, I get at least one of these kind of days weekly. I guess I am lucky now.
