Brice coulda been Mina. The fact that he’s horrified at how Mina operates should tell you that he’s not completely there, and recognizes bad management when he experiences it. Brice, unlike Josh, at least has shown that he does have a grasp on reality.

Kind of makes me wonder how Josh would handle this situation. I doubt he would show the regret and self-awareness lie Brice here. But that leaves the matter of whether he would continue his manic obsequiousness and become Mia’s Wormtongue, or would it lead into a struggle for power between the two with the staff and customers stuck in the middle? Either way, I imagine he’d blame Marla for his circumstances.

See, this is why Brice ranks above Josh. Brice had a “redemption” story arc. Not complete redepmtion, but at least he evolved for the better. If anything, Josh actually backpedaled before he was written out.

Josh was also a bigger dick who was firmly set in his ways – imho, he was worse than Stuart, because Stuart at least shows humanity on occasion. Brick seems like a younger Stuart who’s not quite fully developed in his style, which is what allowed him to earn some redemption.
