Yup, that one was a jerk move.

On the other hand…. can’t they replace the blades in the other box cutters, so there are sharp cutters for everyone who needs one? I may threaten terrible things on anyone who borrows my sewing scissors, but when they get dull, I take them to be sharpened…..

I suspect it’s one of those situations where there isn’t a specific budget for the item you need, so it’s an endless hassle to get it and Grumble’s is not the kind of place where employees would pay out of pocket for it themselves.

Never ever fuck with a guy’s tools. They mean more to us than some close relatives.

So like…. we’re supposed to feel SORRY for Marla at times when she’s an asshole? She stole coopers box cutter when HE’S the one doing almost all the stockroom business. she played hooky from a major meeting at one point for christmas related stuff when it was fricking september and its in the time they HAVE to deal with this stuff. On at least one occassion she played the “I can be an asshole because i’m a manager card” and dumped HER duties off at someone else. Seriously what about the series finale???? She the only one that’s KIND OF normal in the store, left everyone that was left screwed over and little miss “Needs to be in a padded cell” in charger

At one point was bitching to val when val was trying to get sympathy for something and saying something about “Talk about life throwing you a curveball” while showing off her baby bump. MARLA. you got knocked up either due to lack of B.C. or B.C. failure, opted to keep said baby instead of getting an abortion or putting it up for adoption, and you’re having to deal with the consequences. i have ZERO sympathy for people like you.

If you don’t like the main character of this comic strip, I suggest you take your whiny, mean-spirited opinion somewhere else. The rest of us would like to enjoy ourselves without you.

So, you only enjoy a story if the main characters are flawless human beings who only ever do the right thing?

Yeah.im on Cooper’s side. I have my own box cutter I bring into work. It’s from my old job and works better than the ones st my current job. Real jerk move Marla, he probably needs it more than you anyway.
