The consumer electronics company I worked for in the 1980s made employees wear a gold-colored Q pin — to support the internal “Q is for Quality” motto. Unlike Grumbel’s, the cost of the pins came out of each department’s budget.
I have 3 pins like that from my job. Absolutely ridiculous.
Presumably Stuart doesn’t have to wear once since he refuses to work with the customers
