    When I walk up to the register and see this, I go back to the electronics department or the toy aisle for a while

    Even worse when they do it to the fresh and frozen goods. But better they leave those at the till than randomly on the shelves, I suppose. At least there’s a chance they can go back to the chiller cabinets or freezers rather than be thrown away.

    I partly understand. When you’re wandering aisles, the amount you’re spending is an abstract. When you get to the counter, it becomes a reality.

    Still rude though.
