I like to headcanon that whatever deal he had after leaving Greumbel’s fell through, ad he wound up a glorified temp in the office that Marla took over at the end of the strip. That or something during the pandemic crash-landed him.
Yeah I think Norm should’ve given us some kind of closure regarding Josh. Like that wherever he was hired called Marla for a reference and she told them everything (though technically you’re only supposed to give them the dates of their hire and when they left the job) and they rescinded their job offer. So Josh goes from place to place and is rejected everywhere being blackballed. And ends up living on skid row.
Sadly, I don’t believe that Josh ever got any real comeuppance. Unless I missed it?
