    Hmmm, how is his retirement invested? It might get wiped out in the bankruptcy. One of the reasons that 401K have replaced pensions.

    Just retire? How old is he? I guess we should feel a little sorry for him. He never achieved his dream of working in the Corporate office. Well not actually working, just making up impossible edicts for the stores to carry out. And making the big bucks.

    And he wonders why Martha bails on him in the next to last strip. He talks about employee loyalty but never shows concern back. Again loyalty is a two way street and if there is a sinking ship and you only invest in your own lifejacket then people won’t bother saving your own ass.
