    When I worked at Target, it was the opposite. They wanted us to park as close to the store (and to the employee entrance/exit near the main doors) as legally possible

    Exactly and sometimes they had remote parking 2 miles away with a shuttle that ran every “15” minutes unless the driver thought no one would be coming then you had to wait an hour calling every 5 minutes in 90 degree weather asking where the shuttle is then only having him come when you say you’ll drive into the normal employee lot
