    The guy has a point. It’s still winter. Winter coats wear out, get stolen or forgotten, and of course kids and teens (and remember teens usually wear adult sizes) can grow out of all their clothes, including their winter coats, without warning. Oh, and people move long distances to new climates.

    Unfortunately that’s still not enough demand for most stores to bother keeping them in stock, but it’s not weird to need a winter coat in February.

      Not to mention the people who made it through one last season with their old coat, but want to buy a new one now so they have it for the beginning of next winter.
