One of the things that ended up coming true -as Norm would later post to the old site. For those who weren’t there: A Wally World in Utah fired an assistant manager and three security guards for “endangering the safety of their patrons” by literally restraining a shoplifter who produced a gun in the booking room. Like… what? Corpthulu would really have rather had the guy shoot up the store?
Yep. In January 2020 a Best Buy employee in Hawaii was fired for physically blocking a thief from running out of the store with a portable speaker. She and other employees wound up tackling the guy.
Corporate wants shoplifting to stop, yet won’t let employees stop the shoplifters. Then they complain about losing so much to theft. There’s no winning here.
I think I figured it out. There’s a regular who comments under the name “NoNewWars”. He saw that and it reminded him of something he saw on Newsmax about how evil the Democrats are and he took it upon himself to post “witty comments” under an assumed name for a week or so until he forgot what he was supposed to be mad about.
Sometimes I wonder what he’s doing today. Probably drinking Busch Light (because Bud Light is “woke”) and complaining about how Trump isn’t hurting the “right” people.
Just saw a video of a store owner that closed his door, he’s standing holding it shut forcing the woman to pay for what she just stole. She finally did but it was a hard fought battle. She kept claiming that she didn’t, but he knew she did. And finally, she did.
Wait, how the hell are you fleeing with $300 in produce? Yes, I know it’s Whole Paycheck, but $300 in produce is still at least 30 pounds and more likely 60 pounds.

It isn’t even worth talking about now. It’s a free-for-all in the Blue cities
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s just as bad in Red cities.
Yeah, sure, the store policies for major retailers are famously determined by local governments.
Do conservatrolls have brains?
Why are you going through the archives of an old webcomic spouting your random political nonsense?
Because they have nothing better to do then go to any platform and make it political.
