    Would have thought that Val would stay on past liquidation. At least that way she can claim unemployment.

    Not just that. If she closes the store, she gets the Store Manager title (for future job hunting), more salary (even though it won’t last for long) and closing bonus (every penny counts

      Not in a Bazillion years would Val take that “Store Manager” position; Marla once offered her the A.M. position and she turned it down flat. Val’s dreams were always about being an author; why in Heaven’s Name..would she continue working in that “God Forsaken Hell” and the Demons that rule it!? ๏̯̃๏

    I’m reminded of a stand-up comedian I saw on TV, and how the best job in a hospital for a doctor is in the morgue, as there’s no way to really screw up. The punchline was that, worse case scenario, maybe you got a pulse.
