    At least they know they’re actual currency. Some cashiers won’t accept two dollar bills because they think they’re counterfeit.

    Fun fact: The years on bills are related to who signed the bills not necessarily when they were actually printed. If any of the people whose signature is on the bill changes (such as the president, Treasurer of the U.S., or Secretary of the Treasury) then a new series of bills are issued with the new signatory’s name otherwise the date stays the same. It can stay the same for years or the same year can have several different versions.
