      The customers don’t bother with those, either. Why should they, when they can make a store employee jump through their hoops?

    There have been times when I was waiting in a line at a store and the cashier was on the phone with some customer who was probably sitting in their easy chair at home, talking about a possible purchase. Why should we have to wait for this when we’re already there, have the merchandise in hand and are ready to pay? The person on the phone may or may not come in and buy something so why do they come first?
