    That’s why my father always refused to go on salary. He was a hard worker too. He couldn’t take more than a week of vacation or his department would fall apart. He retired in 2016 and they still call him ND ask him to come back for the same pay every couple of months.

      They should be offering him double his previous salary. He might still refuse but with inflation and all it would make more sense especially if they are that desperate.
