Are… are those reasons actually in the SAME CATEGORY as “low traffic”? Because that sounds suspiciously like he’s giving her a really useful “out” on the subject…

Accept or not Stuart, it’s reality. You can’t wave a magic wand and make it all different. You can however, try to stop being such a jerk. You really need to consider that. Because if you don’t, I’m gonna handcuff you to a chair and pull out those two hairs on top of your head. Then I’m gonna pull out the 3 hairs over your ears on both sides. Then I’m gonna start on your moustache. By then I hope you’re begging for mercy but you will find just as much mercy as you extend to Marla with your INSANE and UNREALISTIC demands!

here’s something I don’t understand about corporates. Are they just so wrapped up in the lie about infinite growth that they HAVE to believe in reality defying strategies for the number to go up? Or are they just so used to number always going up that when natural reasons for number plateauing occur, their brains break a little and they stop operating in the real world?

I mean, this isn’t the first time Stuart has been all “stop giving me excuses that make sense and DO BETTER” but what also gets me is that he never seems to offer solutions. Low traffic means you’re going to get low sales, so what is corporate’s strategy to bring more traffic? The workers inside the store can’t do anything about advertising, because that’s all handled by corporate

Perhaps if Stuart is willing to go outside the mall with ropes and drag people into Grumbles it would increase traffic. Of course he might also be arrested but as a corporate suck-up yes man, I’m sure he’d gladly pay te price.
