I’d rather take stability over more money. A good work environment is incredibly underrated

Both of these. Having a good team and enjoying that team can make thing so much easier to take.

Too true. I was truck driver for a year, then became a school bus driver to get the last two endorsements on my CDL. I thought I’d be at the school bus company for a year, then move on to something else. They ended up treating me better than any employer I’ve had. I’ve been there three years now. I could definitely make more money in other jobs, but you just can’t replace actually being happy where you work.

You haven’t tried to get another job yet Cooper. You were only thinking about it. You’re not a heel… yet. But remember this. There are people who are making less money at a job where they have a decent boss than they did at one with a jerk of a boss and they’re happier and more at peace than when they had the higher paying job. You don’t know who the manager of Delman’s is and you don’t want to know. Stay where you are.
