Last time I asked for a lost-and-found box, I was looking for a pair of shades that I thought I had left in the seat’s cup holder at the movie theater. They turned up underneath the driver’s seat of my car about two years later, having somehow rolled into a position that I hadn’t touched while feeling around down there the first dozen times. 🙄
