    Ah yes, there’s a clause in the manual which specifies that the employee has to be on the clock for such warnings.

      The warning was for being late that day, but he can’t be late if he’s not scheduled for a shift. Thus the warning is unnecessary and invalid.

        Yup. Cooper’s letting STU-MAN go on one of his “management ego trips” and is planning to crush what little is left of his soul. This kind of thing gives Cooper immense satisfaction.

        And for the younger generation who doesn’t understand what “pick up your paycheque” means… there was a time before direct deposit. You had to physically go into the store to collect it, then take it to the bank. A true example of a QOL improvement.
