I know it could easily have gotten her fired, but when I worked retail, one of our managers was talking to another manager by one of the doors, when a guy walked right by them with a power tool clearly intending to steal it. She just said “Nope,” and grabbed it out of his hand. The would-be thief kept on walking. I found it quite hilarious, mostly because of the flat, matter-of-fact way she spoke to him and how stunned the guy was that we were actually paying enough attention to him to stop him.
