4th panel: “Well… the middle class can afford to go to the doctor and it’s technically still post-war times, so there, Marla!”

Yes. Because everything they do is wrong, and none of the other parties should be held responsible for the social, fiscal, and environmental problems affecting one of the largest and most populous countries in the world. 🤦🏻‍♂️🙄

Look, I’m not saying they’re perfect, because they’re not (None of the parties are. I HATE political parties; they were a bad idea from the start). But let’s be careful not to just go about throwing blame on one group for every problem that comes up.

Besides, the government allows the OPTION to outsource internationally. It’s the CORPORATIONS that CHOOSE to do so.

Actually it was before the corporate and wealthy people tax breaks took effect that were instituted by Republicans. I’m old so I remember what life was like before those days as well as after. CEOs didn’t make exorbitant salaries either. Once “trickle down” economics went into effect, the wealthy really took off in their greed. Prices have been raised so CEOs could get bigger and bigger bonus instead of raising employee salaries to a living wage. The federal minimum wage hadn’t been raised in 15 years! Nothing ever “trickled down” to the middle and lower classes. Instead money was hoarded at the top. This has contributed to the undermining g of the middle class and caused a lot of our economic problems today.

The 50’s was a very prosperous decade. It would’ve been nice to live back then but there were very few rights for women and the clothing from that decade pretty much sucked.
