It’s called situational awareness, or in this case the lack thereof.
Kinda reminds me of Parks and Recreation. It’s a running gag- the shot is framed to show two people talking about a third party, then the camera pans to show the third party present. Happens often enough that it could be part of the drinking game.
The Bob and George nostalgia is real.
I really do love how they play this out though, it was brilliant. Looking forward to reading it again.
