It’s exactly this kind of corporate doublethink that led to the company’s ultimate demise.

The sad thing is, it happens in real-life companies, too.

And another spoiler. Oh well. May as well stop reading I suppose.

Then don’t read the comment section.

Then do that. This strip is over now so if we want to talk about what happens in future strips we will. You’re just like people in a Facebook group I was in for a show from the 60’s. The show was on from 1966-1971 so over 50 years old and they griped about people giving spoilers since they were watching it now and didn’t want to know what happened in episodes they hadn’t seen yet. The whole purpose of the group was to discuss the show. Don’t try to tell us not to fulfill the purpose of the comment section.

This is a newspaper comic that ended years ago. You’re explicitly reading a finished material, which in its original form would have been “spoiled” because you’re not going to read the comic from the start, heading to a section of fans and then complaining. You do know that knowing something is going to happen doesn’t make it bad? Do you get upset when Christmas arrives on the 25th?

Okay, so let’s look at this logically. The comic used to run, but now it doesn’t. What would be the most obvious and easiest way to stop a comic strip about a retail store? Why, the store going out of business, of course!

Cheap virtue signaling from corrupt corps never go out of style.
