    I’ve seen that thing in action. A trained employee could make the burger in half the time.

    Closest I’ve seen to an automated ordering kiosks are those giant touch screens you see in the newer McDonald’s these days. There’s still a counter with a register and someone operating it.

    Of course, I always like to order stuff without pickles or onions, so I use the touch screen anyway most of the time.

      Yah, I ordered through those too at Taco Bell pre-pandemic, to hold the sour cream and customize a few other things. These days I use the website if I go.

    There was a completely automated burger joint in Japan but it kept breaking down.
