The Sears store in the Pearlridge Mall recently closed. On the very last day, the local news sent a crew down and interviewed a woman who had gone there to shop and was shocked to find the store completely empty. EVERYTHING was gone. Stock, clothes hangers, shelving, display tables, seating and fixtures.
There ARE certain stores that basically don’t exist for me unless I need something from them. I won’t see news about them, signs in their window, or any changes to their staffing, stock, or stuff like that until the next time I walk in their front door.
