I like an RPG video game called “Torchlight” where your character has an animal companion; it can be a wolf, a big cat (like a lynx) or a ferret. I like the ferret best cos it chitters and it wears a 1930s style aviator cap with goggles. (and I’m easily amused.)
If I could have any pet I wanted, unlimited resources to care for said pet, and had some way to guarantee my safety and that of the general public, well… I’d go with a cat.
But then again, I think most people would not want me as their neighbor if I had a leopard for a pet.
Lunker has become even more cool than before. Cats have always been my favorite too. I’m not known as the cat lady for nothing. I hope Lunker can move somewhere he can get his cat.

Dude, the ship to shop ability those pets come with is a huge quality of life on a long haul dungeon crawler
If I had more resources, a pair of ferrets (de-musked, of course) would be really cool to own.

I always wanted a Savanna cat or a Maine Coon, still do.
