Some non-vegetarians get very upset that you’re not on “their side”. also some vegetarians. also some alcoholics. it’s that whole “fear of the other” thing that humans haven’t managed to shake out of their DNA.
I’m very much a carnivore, but I respect those who give up meat for one reason or another. So long as they respect that I’m not going to change my diet to make them happy, that is.
For my own reasons, I am vegetarian. I preach to nobody and I make no comments about their choices. For my own reasons, I do not consume alcohol. I preach to nobody and I make no comments about their choices. Yet, for both issues, I’m often accused of both. Interesting world, isn’t it?
I stopped taking all vegans seriously when they started calling me “murderer” at work for eating a ham or meatball sandwich. The best vegan is one who keeps their snide opinions to themselves.
my guy, she said she’s a vegetarian, not a vegan. Her choice to not eat meat has nothing to do with her choice to wear wool, real leather, or other animal-based products (even if none of the items in her possession in this case are non-animal-based). Vegetarians usually just stick with adjusting their diets, which can be challenging enough when they have to deal with tools like you on a regular basis

I’ve been in Crystal’s situation many times. Don’t understand why people get so offended about what I’m not eating.
You mean Cheryl?

You’re not alone there! As long as you respect my choice to eat meat, I’ll respect your choice.
Why do vegetarians work so hard at imitating what they want to avoid?
We don’t. Next question, please.
Because there’s more than one reason to avoid eating meat. Also, avoiding animal products is generally considered veganism
And This is why I called him the “Anti-Josh.” Unlike Josh, he HATES working, but they both mouth off to people who can punish them.

Only antagonize those plant eaters who are annoying. Those who keep to themselves are good.
